About Our Family Raised Red Fox Labradors

Hi, my name is Kerri Pogar, and I would like to welcome you to our Red Fox Labrador website and to our family. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to learn more about our dogs and how we raise our puppies.

My husband, Joel, and I live on a two acre hobby ranch in Grand Junction, Colorado. We adopted a rural lifestyle in 2016 and truly enjoy the space, freedom, and connection that come with raising animals in a natural environment. Our Labradors have room to run, explore, and simply be dogs, which is very important to us.

While we still enjoy the occasional Starbucks run, most mornings start with gathering fresh eggs from our chickens while our dogs roam the field. There is something special about raising animals in an environment where they can thrive, and that philosophy carries through everything we do.

Colorado is where we raised our two children, along with chickens, turkeys, cats, and of course our Labradors, Gunner, Ginger, Charlie and Lainey. This is the same environment where your puppies will begin their lives, exploring open fields, tall grasses, and the everyday sights and sounds of ranch life.

Joel and I have been together for more than thirty-two years, and Labradors have always been part of our story. In fact, my engagement ring arrived wrapped around a Chocolate Labrador back in 1993. It is safe to say this breed has long held a special place in our hearts.

We love Labradors for their exceptional temperament, family friendly nature, loyalty, and versatility. Whether as companions, working partners, or active family dogs, they truly are an incredible breed.

Although we have years of experience raising Labradors, we are not a high volume breeder. We intentionally keep our program small and selectively breed only when the timing is right for both our family and our dogs. Because of this, we may not always have puppies available.

When we do have a litter, we take great pride in raising healthy, well cared for puppies through responsible breeding practices, thoughtful pairing, and early care. We are passionate about these dogs and about placing them into homes where they will be loved and valued for life.
