Welcome to Week 1 of puppy love overload. On June 15th, 2025, at 4:30 am, Ginger delivered her final litter of six beautiful Red Fox Labrador puppies, and we are so excited to share their journey with you.
Each week, we will bring you cheerful pupdates so you can follow along as these little ones grow, stretch, and wiggle their way into your heart. Let’s meet the crew and check in on their progress.
Meet the Puppies
Each pup wears a different colored collar to help us tell them apart. It also adds a little personality to the mix. Here is the rundown of this cuddly crew.
Purple Male: The tiniest of the group. Born at 305 grams and now up to 832 grams. A mighty spirit in a small package.
Blue Male: Our heavyweight champ. Currently at 1,052 grams and leading the boys. A strong eater with calm, relaxed vibes.
Brown Male: Born at 366 grams and now 942 grams. He has a gorgeous darker coat and is steadily gaining each day.
Pink Female: Born at 442 grams and now 1,058 grams. A determined little girl who is often first to eat.
Lime Green Female: The biggest of them all. Started at 471 grams and now 1,132 grams. She is even outgrowing the boys.
Fuchsia Female: Also known as Hot Pink. Born at 414 grams and now 865 grams. A spunky little pup with a healthy appetite.
Boys and Girls Quick Recap
Three girls: Pink, Lime Green, Fuchsia
Three boys: Blue, Brown, Purple
Right now the collars help us keep track, but as their coats continue to darken in the coming weeks, you will begin to see more of their individual features shine through.
Growing Fast and Wiggly
These pups were born just after 4:30 am on Sunday, June 15th, and they have been busy ever since eating and growing. The girls are currently leading in weight, but the boys are not far behind.
Their eyes are still closed and their ears are not fully active yet. For now, they rely on smell and touch to find mom and each other. It is amazing to watch their instincts at work.
Ginger the Supermom
Ginger has been an incredible mom. She rarely leaves the whelping box except for meals and quick breaks. She is attentive, patient, and fully devoted to her babies. We truly believe she knows this is her final litter, and she is soaking up every moment.
Personalities Are Already Peeking Through
Even in week one, we are starting to see little glimpses of personality. Lime Green is leading in both size and confidence. Pink is assertive and quick to eat. Purple may be the smallest, but he is determined and never misses a meal. Every pup is healthy, active, and off to a strong start.
Sleep is limited around here, but it is the kind of exhaustion that comes with a full heart.
Coming Next Week
Week two will bring even more growth. By week three, their eyes should begin to open, which is always a big milestone in puppy development.
We will be back soon with another pupdate filled with new photos, updated weights, and more personality observations.
